Two sibling children are at play;
The ‘horse’ is elder sister, Jill,
Whose younger brother ‘driver’ Bill
Sits on an ‘Umbrella-cart’, gay!

As long as heir is just a child,
He is not diff’rent from a slave,
Although he owns the whole estate,
Until time set by his father,
...

All who believe Jesus is Christ,
Is born of Father and love Him,
And love His child as well, in truth;
We know we love children of God,
...

The Potter chose to make a pot of clay,
And used some special earth to mould its frame,
That turned to be a vessel, which one day,
Became so holy, bringing Him, great name!
...

They want to live in peace,
The people of the ‘Roof of th’ world’;
They want to sleep in Nature’s lap,
But cannot do with ease!
...

What harmony has Universe innate!
-The Maker’s unique gift to all earthlings;
If not for it, our existence would end,
And Creation would be a failure then.
...

Help me to bear my sorrows of my life;
Help me to live in piety, O God;
Help me to keep my faith amidst my strife;
Help me to fight my odds with courage, Lord.
...

I see some persons laughing all the time;
They wear a mask of artificial smiles;
Their tongues are smooth and eyes are deceptive;
They boast of living prudently and wise!
...

Dressed in coat and suit and tie,
Anglo-Indian Teacher my;
Wearing shoes with shine always;
Tall in stature, meek, honest, Ayes!
...

The school I went to was the best
In Coimbatore town, in those days;
It gave me knowledge and life’s zest,
And made me wholesome, in much ways!
