Within the coast of the western region
Here lies my country my people
Black to the bone; beautiful as ever

All rolled over the labour room
Like rumbling thunder
Nurses, midwives moves to and fro

Perhaps his tongue is coated with sugar
His actions are vulgar
But his promises are bigger

My Country My People

Far across the continent of Africa
Within the coast of the western region
Here lies my country my people
Black to the bone; beautiful as ever

Brave and bold
Beautiful to behold
Filled with smiles even in chaos
My country my people

Diversified with culture like shattered glasses
You don't need glasses
To see my people happy
My country my people
