Ekemini Udoh Biography
Ekemini Udoh is a poet, novelist and playwright. He has many poems. He is the brain behind 'INKCRAFTs' a freelance writing outfit in Uyo(Akwa Ibom state) Nigeria. Educationally, he is a computer engineer and the CEO of Azure Services in Uyo. He has written many novels, such as: The Jailbird Petticoat Government Santuary and others.)

Night
The bats are flying
and crickets are creeping
they Angels in heaven are singing
while on our warm bed we are dreaming
under the starless night, that is dark and still
and the mosquitoe bites, is delight fill
we sleep, we have beautiful sweet dream
while many have nightmares that makes them scream
we only pray for protection
we can't make angelic selection
but we wake next morn, strong and sound
we never know how long we've laid on the ground
at times in starfilled sky or night of rain
we sleep, wake up, see ourselves still sane
