Nigeria my beautiful mother,
Sitting atop many mountains.
...

Stones play invisible drums,

While trees dance to the sweet rhythm.
...

The moon explodes!
As the sun burns out.
Stars fall from the sky,
And meteors dash for

Nigeria

Nigeria my beautiful mother,
Sitting atop many mountains.

Nigeria the fruitful palm,
Watered by the best fountain.
Chukwu-okike used you to complement
Our grandmother Africa.

Niger runs through you,
And at your navel, Benue joins him
In his travel to your leg.

It's your greatness, that made you
Weave the Sahara into a cap
This same greatness, got you the Atlantic
Shoe.

Your sugary tongue spews forth
A million dialects. And the wall of your bedroom,
Is adorned with many ethnic groups.

Your kitchen, is filled with an uncountable
Assortment of foods.
Solomon's wisdom, is a dropp of water in the Niger
When compared to the wisdom of us your kids.

I love you mother.
My blood shall remain green till donkeys fly.
My hair shall remain white till birds desert the sky.
