Oh Bury Me There

Oh bury me there in the field by the hill
Quite close to the banks of the babbling rill
That from the high country hurries on down
To join the big river that flows by the Town.

One Cannot Bring Back The Past

One cannot bring back the past and what is gone is gone
And today leads to tomorrow and life will go on
And though young Johnny pines for a love that once used to be

The Southern Cross

A white cross with five stars in a background of navy blue
Men fought under it in eighteen fifty two

Some miners died for workers rights there and history was made.

Chantelle Newberry's Hometown

'Tis such a dry country around Castlemaine
And there even in Winter it seldom does rain
In the heat of the Summer the sun glows in the sky
And the paddocks are brown and the drains are bone dry.

Stay Brave Young David Hicks

Stay brave young David Hicks and hold your head high you have no reason to feel loss of pride
The only case that can be brought against you is that you fought with the defeated side
No murder charges to be brought against you or any crimes against humanity
Some try to taint you as an unworthy person but with them I for one cannot agree.

We Cannot Eat Money

Pollution and nuclear poisoning has become Worldwide
And will there be a Worldwide famine when the Earth we have destroyed?
When the last root crop has failed and the last animal has died money we cannot eat
There will be a Worldwide famine without milk and bread and meat.
