Gabe Florsheim Poems

Star crossed lovers of household war
Alike and destined to be no more
With ill fated love as all they bore
For each were shallow paramour,
...

I don't need a miracle.

I dont even want the girl with a perfect smile
or the one that laughs and sings along to her favorite songs.
...

Life is like a beautiful flower
Each day as unique
As each petal of each.
...

4.

I just want to find an oasis in the desert.
I just want to see a spark in the darkness.
I just want to get my breath in the asphyxiating gas.
...

Unrecognizable,
This picture is a blur
because you see what they see;
what they want you to see.
...

6.

There is this time and hours,
We all will come and dream;
And find the little flowers,
That seeds will give to stream.
...

We were one.

We were unified and obsolete. I was open and free. I was myself.
I finally touched another heart but the greetings were shifty.
...

It doesn't matter that love is blind, deaf, and dumb; We are impervious.
It doesn't matter that you feel so far away: I will always be with you in your heart.

It doesn't matter that I can't be with you forever; Know that I am always there to hold you in my arms.
...

Dedicated to my MOM.

My mother taught me something for every year I’ve survived her;
...

Please give me wings.
Teach me the sky.
A bird in it's cage
can learn how to fly.
...

Truth is Relative;
True for me is lies for you
In eyes of lies
the truth is bent, but
...

Are we not pure?
was it as I deified? I sat, I saw...
...

Life, or mine, is just like flowers,
Swaying in the autumn wInd.
I'm light and free and nonchalant
Towards angry weeds, who spring from sin.
...

16.

A half of me wakes up at night
Set to fly with midnight crows.
For the half awake, I wait asleep,
With one eye open; one eye closed.
...

Love as a function: (You + Me)
Parenthesis, binding us, though, in truth,
We need not for we cannot be separated.
Without an answer for time is yet to tell us.
...

I remembered the rain…
the day we sat together
watching the rain drops dancing before us
on the window before our eyes
...

Why’d it happen yesterday?
You fly away into the night.
There’s no reason left to stay here,
But you’re still dancing in the light.
...

20.

Life has Limits.

A warrior stabbed is as good as gone,
But in his place became a song.

The Best Poem Of Gabe Florsheim

Of Romeo And Juliet

Star crossed lovers of household war
Alike and destined to be no more
With ill fated love as all they bore
For each were shallow paramour,

Though oceans, seas and rivers dry,
The brightest stars, they too, will die.
An end to all not true but lie:
Two hearts will hold and time untry.

But in that end, though love is spent
As currency of their intent,
All shall sing a sad lament
But only death will be benevolent.
