1.

As we strolled towards the wooden shack
It is my endeavour to win you back

We kicked the brown leaves that lie on the ground
...

Stained glass eyes.

From the pillow we lift our head
Turn another page on our book well read
...

"My cost"

I am floating under the waves of the sea
The sun is shinning through but it can not see me
...

Read it well

What is a teardrop if you really think
It could be our way of writing without the ink
...

Have you ever sat in the dark and wondered what it's all about

Why some people whisper and others just shout

Us

As we strolled towards the wooden shack
It is my endeavour to win you back

We kicked the brown leaves that lie on the ground
Bringing you here I hoped love again could be found

My mistake could cost me a huge piece of happiness
Even though I did this I really do not love you less

I held out my hand in the hope it would attract yours
But nothing, like a corridor of securely locked doors

Returning my hand to my side
The sun was beaming and Like me could no longer hide

We both stood by the slow mesmerising stream
I could tell by your face inside you wanted to scream

With a broken heart that I bestowed on you
From when we where tiny we where always one not two

In the playground our small hands cupped together
In our younger days we thought "us" would last forever

But I am to blame as I was tempted and temptation won
I thought bringing you here you could no longer run

Inside though I can see your hurt and pain
And your tears have fallen like the pouring rain

Even though you are here your heart as taken flight
And i can see the young you walking away out of sight.

To have known you for such a while
On dark days i will remember you and fondly smile

When it comes to remembering me
Take those heart breaking memories and toss them out to sea

I will do the same with regret and fear
And in that stormy sea our younger selves will once again be so near
