Watching o'er me, and in their eyes
The love of God and mercy great,

From Earth's greenest pastures
To those greener still,
I'll follow my Shepherd
To heaven's high hill.

Keep me satisfied, ever with Thee;
Craving, clinging, ever needful.
Yearning, let my complete desire be
To find in Thee my life, my whole.

This morning, as I slumbered,
A tune ran through my head;
A song that seemed unnumbered
Among the ones I'd read.
