A Friend Poem by Gavin Anderson

A Friend

Rating: 5.0

A friend in need's
A friend indeed —
A faithful saying, true,

But who could pay
The price today
For such a friend as you.

And, as you're getting older
I fear our ways may part,
But now and for forever
You've a place within my heart.
