he smell himself, his shelling skin
molting snake, lashed, drying stems
swollen morning, eyes, crusted gems
rose colored cake, half mooned, stars pinned

sign up ahead seems to be misguiding
inside of your head there's a thought misgiving
birds that fly south fly upon a heartbeat
what if one dies

under like glue, ware blubber toes
