Hsiu Lee Poems

Mother wants to catch a beautiful butterfly
To put on in my pink dress
And bring me to stroll down the street
...

Bell Apple / Bells
A string of small pink bells
Look for the wind to make the sound of ding dong
But I actually like peaceful quiet
...

That day
The weather suddenly changes
The little raindrops are leaving home one by one
After that they change their bodies into many crystal pillars
...

Grandpa Tree is an arrogant guy
Nobody can get him to look at them
He never says anything
He stays quiet as he stands there
...

Rain mother!
Are you too busy washing clothes
And forgetting to turn the faucet off?
...

Bringing some gift and flowers
We go to visit you, our dear grandfather
We must come here once a year
To chat with you
...

Chalk is happiest when the teachers come to him
Because he can chat about all sorts of subjects
Such as astronomy, geography, science and art
Chalk knows whatever you want to know
...

A small frightened flower
Has been struggling against a violent storm
She wants to go home
But the rain hides the way home
...

Mother!
If you are the earth, I am the rain in the sky
I pour the rain to earth; whether heavy or light
You always accept me
...

Unhappy Stars
The stars are not obedient children
They desire to come down and wander around freely on Earth
But Moon Teacher forces them to stand in the sky
...

On the Playing-field
We hugged tightly in the dark playing-field, like first-time lovers
For some reason, he suddenly left
He left me in the dark, no matter that the mosquitoes were kissing me

The Best Poem Of Hsiu Lee

Butterfly (Children's Poem)

Mother wants to catch a beautiful butterfly
To put on in my pink dress
And bring me to stroll down the street

My Mother chases and chases
Until a butterfly
Is in caught my mother’s clever hands
But I am always swaying
Frightening the butterfly
So that when she moves, her wing is either too long this way
Or too short that way
If mother has to relax her hands
Butterfly flies away quickly

Mother wants me to be an obedient child
I stand still and move less
Finally, mother catches
A big beautiful butterfly
That becomes a bow tie on my pink dress
And our stroll begins
