Jaan Zhou Poems

Sprouting seeds
new born leaves
heeding the weather
casting all asunder
...

What is life but a sharing?
A sharing of time
of thoughts
of tears
...

A ray of sunshine
grace my life
in the darkest hours
through the loneliest nights
...

In the darkness of the night
I hear the ticking of the clock
declaring to me the passing seconds
...

A lonely gaze
teary eyes
blinding pain
...

In the depth
within my soul
a screaming escapes
...

I was awaken in the wee hours
by the smile of the sun
saying grace for a beautiful day
...

When you have nowhere to turn
no one to lean on
no home to return to
...

I touched your cold hands
hands that worked the land
caressed your tousled hair
hair that had known flair
...

In my waking hours
I lulled the voice within
easily thru the din
...

The Best Poem Of Jaan Zhou

Spring

Sprouting seeds
new born leaves
heeding the weather
casting all asunder

Promising buds
caroling birds
rejoicing in the sun
having fun

I pause amidst the crowd
of rushing humanity
looking up at the clouds
soaking in the insanity

In the promise of spring
I recall yonder years
the laughter that rings
drowning the tears

I walk on with a dance in my steps
I hear the sounds of claps
I see my smiling face
I say my grace

Leaving insanity be
I choose my destiny
