I stand alone beside the stormy sea,
The crash of waves roll over me.
And seagulls screaming their harsh cry,
Sing songs of praise to God on High.
...
Someone sees where'er you go;
They follow you with little feet
And try to do the best they can,
Your careless actions to repeat.
...
Praise! Praise! Praise! Praise!
Kept silent, dormantly it lays,
Upon the paths and on the ways,
Until to God our love we raise,
...
I'll sing a grateful song of praise,
To Him who loves me all my days.
He cares for me where'er I stray
When I forget and turn away.
...
The God who clothed the lilies white
And covered them with morning dew,
Who feeds the sparrows from his hand
Is surely watching over you.
...
I read of a heav'n
Of how it is true,
The Lord has a home
Just waiting for you!
...
Hi everyone! The purpose of my poems is to glorify God and to thank Him for all that he has done in my life! I want these poems to be an inspiration to you!)
Grace
The Grace of God
No man can tell
The whole
Of how it cleanses him
Of sin, and makes
Him free again.
Jazzie’s work is amazing keeping in mind the young age. At this age when most people ignore the inner peace and the beauty of expression, she is walking on a path less chosen. Needless to say she is outgrowing herself. And although I am not a very religious person, I respect all, and I believe it would not be an overstatement to say that if there is evil rising in hearts of men, her words bring them the hope of being closer to the almighty. This is a very noble work she is doing and I would like to appreciate that effort and wish her the best of luck for all her endeavors.
You give a real description of Heaven and call your friend to meet you there because you are already there. Excellent poem. It deserves *****
