Fighting the urge to take, will allow your relationship to live!

I watch my closest friends find love
as I sit on my perch watching from above
and I wonder... is there someone for ME?

Every time you hear the sound of a singing bird, know I'm there with an encouraging word;

To lift your thoughts and lighten your load, to help you find your way, along life's curvy road.

They call them the GOLDEN YEARS?
And in what way?
Am I wealthy? Did my hair turn blonde?
No, it's definitely GRAY!

My heart aches with disappointment for the human race.
Why are we such a terrible disgrace?
Given the world on a silver platter...
What do we DO? What does it matter?

Gratitude, is felt deeply in the heart,
and must come from a place of true
