Joc Hum Poems

It was a bright, blooming morning,
And spring was in the air.
The birds in the sky were soaring,
With all the wind to share.
...

It works hard, it works fast...
The Melody Maker will never stop humming in the back of your mind,
It works in the future, and in the past.
It makes you sing and dance or even feel so kind,
...

He is mean,
he's a double wammy to me,
I see him everywhere,
because he likes me,
...

A forgotten love
A wrathful world
A hope to become
...

My thoughts are running

The lights are stunning
...

The Best Poem Of Joc Hum

He's In Heaven Now.

It was a bright, blooming morning,
And spring was in the air.
The birds in the sky were soaring,
With all the wind to share.

My grandpa had just risen,
Because I heard the papers rustle.
I rushed down to listen
When he turned on “The Hustle”.

We danced in the living room.
He smiled at me and sang,
I love you more than my favorite tune.
When I heard that, my heart rang.

We got tired and decided to rest.
I poured us some tea with ice.
That’s when I told him he was truly the best,
And he teared up, sniffing once or twice.

I was excited to wear my new tie,
That grandpa bought me yesterday.
So I could come to church looking sly,
With the present of blues and grays.

He started up the car with thrust,
His 1964 Mustang.
I felt honored and filled with trust,
When he told me to give it a swang.

So he opened his car door,
And I hopped out of mine.
I felt stiff and unsure,
But then he smiled and I felt fine.

When we got to the church,
I sat down in the first row.
He looked around and searched
For the pastor, just to say hello.

While I waited, I saw a note,
Sticking out of his bible.
So I turned to what he wrote,
And revealed a tri-fold.

It showed a letter to God,
Written when he was a child.
The piece of writing was quite broad,
Summed up, and nicely written with style.

What the note was trying to say,
Was that when he dies,
He would give his heart away
To anyone that met his eyes.

Another thing he said
Was that he’d live for him
Like make sure his family was fed,
And help the neighbors, Joe and Kim.

He said a lot of other things,
But most of all it touched my heart,
To know that he had the soul of a true king,
And he always had somewhere to start.
