I live my life through nostalgia and the false hopes of seeing her again.
My life isn't depressing;
rather it's sad with its small moments of joy.
Will things get better for me?

I feel so distant and isolated from her.
The loneliness is starting to burn and create a hole in my heart.
I hope the day I see her again,
the hole,

I don't want her to think I'm weird or creepy.
But, every time my eyes glaze the lake,
she enters my mind without difficulty and the few memories we shared play back crystal clear.
They're the only things I have left to remember her.

I feel petrified.
Day by day she and I talk more and I'm scared that if she discovers the real individual she speaks to every night, then I'll be back to phase one: loneliness.
I think that's what fate wants from me though. Just to roam around this city and keep her as a friend.
I hope he realizes that being an introvert has its limits.
