John Dillenger II Poems

I see the pain in this world
The pain of ages so far away
I see the pain of lives been twirled
The world's too much for them today
...

Today begins
as the last one ends
a perpetual motion
of death and life.
...

The cord of life quickly unwound
as it follows its turns round and round
the pain She feels which knows no bounds
will hardly stop till she makes a sound
...

The ocean waves lap at my feet, the warm salt speckled water warming me against the soft breeze. Soft tan sand as fine as dust shifts beneath my feet. The sun still sits above the horizon, which was good, because she wasn't here yet. I've been waiting so long. I stopped counting the days when I began to lose hope, but I still wait for her. She is so lost in here own mind, so confused by over-analyzing thoughts.
...

Sunlight filters through
my window,
piercing the harsh darkness
that's harbored within.
...

Sleep well dear shining star
Fall into dreams soft embrace
I cant be just where you are
But I promise I'm not too far away
...

How long ago did you hold me last
The memories of what has been
How have we let time go so fast
I hope it slows before the end
...

In the dark, the deep, the gray
I will lose the fight today
For in the end I am weak
A pawn in the greater play of things
...

Tell me now of the maze
The place you went to search, to gaze
To try to find what I have hid
To try to crack, to break the lid
...

What has humanity come to?

Some unknown crossroads of lies and truth.
...

I used to dream of better times,

a soft wave breaking shore.
...

The sleepless nights
that relax the mind.
The darkened sights
that one can find.
...

What are we in this place?
A creation of God
or a waste of space?
Can we know the truth,
...

When will I fall into the depths,
the thing they call sleep?
I crawl upon my empty walls,
watching my blood as it seeps.
...

Sleep now
weary soul
forget the nights
that I stole
...

What good these dreams
if only nightmares
What good my cries
if no one cares
...

The dark of night
The dying lights
the endless fights
of lonely nights
...

What wouldn't I do for you?
What wouldn't I do to help you through?
Through the pain and sorrow,
to help you to tomorrow?
...

Another piece of paper wasted by my pointless hand
Yet another fruitless, pointless plan.
This day they aim to raise the dead,
but the dead will always need to be fed.
...

Shinning lights
glistening water
Glowing sun
Scorching earth
...

John Dillenger II Biography

Many sleepless nights I have spent at my desk, longing for the right words to describe that which haunts me. It's in these nights that I came to love this art. It is my description, my words, of what I cannot find words to describe. My emotions poured to paper, overflowing the walls I've created to retain them for the day.)

The Best Poem Of John Dillenger II

A Pain To Clear To Me

I see the pain in this world
The pain of ages so far away
I see the pain of lives been twirled
The world's too much for them today
For when a friend is so lost
All you see is the pain
His happiness dulled by the frost
Of thinking the same thought in the rain
Wondering why in the world you're gone
A question clear on his face
For wondering when he did you wrong
While he locks his door so he can pace
Back and Forth, Back and Forth
The answer to far off to hear
Back and Forth, Back and Forth
Not from the pain, but from the fear
The fear of thoughts where you disappear

So come home now from the long road you've found
Come back to him and you will see.
It's not too late to turn around
For what he wants is himself to be
The one you wrap your arms around
He fights a battle atop the mound
To follow your voice, the only sound
He says music is what sound feels like
A saying as wise as true
But for him it needs not be this pike
The pain of loosing you
That's pierced his heart and left it bleeding
The one that's turned his sun to rain
The pain of you and him no longer meeting
Of having to go to pace again
So come home now from where you've been
Come home now, Come back to him.
