Beneath The Waves

In perfect disharmony, so seemed me
In the sparkle of moonlight tho'
Nature seemed so serene
Yet gazing at the ebb
The flow is so tempting
Then at once, down the Nile
My passion swims
And now
Beneath the waves
Drifts her ring
Beneath the waves
Sails her bouquet
And beneath the waves
Crumbles the eternal promise

O beautiful diamond of Cape
Shall I e'er find thee gleaming
Where you're rightfully meant to be
Beneath the waves not

How delightful not
That you shalt stay afloat
Beneath the waves
Thy fragrance meeting her nose never
O wonderful roses of Elma!
Or shalt you my solemn words
Beneath the waves
E'er kiss her ears
And resound for e'er in her soul
But unto the guardians of the Mediterranean
When this Valentine Symphony does dock
Let the Goddess smile
Beneath the Waves
