I stumble
I can't get the right words out
sometimes
...

I've said I love you,
but I'm not so sure, now,

I knew nothing of love
...

She was fine
Like wine
And I asked her, 'How'd it do? '

There’s a place this man can
Be as happy as a clam
And he squeezes you so hard that
He finds pearls in his hat

We can be a little silly sometimes, if I remember correctly
Where the hall light intrudes upon a darkened room
And we don’t wait for beds, cause it’s off with our
Pants, and they slide down dry shins to carpet.

He don't talk much no more,
Not too much to say.
Got a limp in his leg and a sauce stain on his shirt and not a dime to pay.

Dad once took me fishing
When I was a happy boy
And taught me how to hook a worm
plunge my fingers into a gooey cup

Not the birth. Definitely not the birth.
I hear I cried but they were nothing compared
to the tearing of the flesh as I rocked this world's foundation,
sent it spinning off it's plane like an out-of-control top.

sherp sherp sherp
Slide scitter scatter
on the floor

It wasn't right the way you pushed me away.
I mean, come on, things weren't all that bad.
There was a level of communication I thought I'd never reach,
and one upon meeting you I knew we'd never share.
