Teach me the ways of love:
To feel like Romeo when first
he beheld Juliet, but last
long enough my time to serve.
...
She is Aurora's rare light,
transforming the Northern sky.
She is the lone star of night
guiding my floating mind's eye.
...
I wrote my first poem when I was 12 but did not take poetry serious till I was 16.My specialty has so far been Love, Hate, Sadness, Happiness; in short, emotions.Wasn't it Lord Byron who said 'To be a poet, one must either be in love or miserable'?)
Teach Me The Ways Of Love
Teach me the ways of love:
To feel like Romeo when first
he beheld Juliet, but last
long enough my time to serve.
Teach me the ways of love:
To lose my heart that fast
but avoid the traps of lust
'till, by Fate, no choice I have.
Teach me the ways of love:
To recognize my heart's thirst,
quench it with love and the last
of my pride forget for love.
Teach me the ways of love;
teach me to believe in love.
