And sing a melody

The beautiful angel fell, as if god had clipped his wings
Like Icarus he plunged, striken by his sinful pride
On that most fateful of days, the angel Helel died

We'll praise the darkness and sacrifice the honored son
To see man's greatest sight of black hellfire
How we sang and sacrificed for our greatest god
Born with heart of a man and a soul of death

Who says that I am dead knows not.
Of this lost tale that was never taught

Do not stand upon my grave and weep
I am not there and I do not sleep

Honour, Peace, and National Pride
For these convictions our founders died
But the time for convictions has come to pass
The time of deceit, here at last.

Come sweet death and take hold of my hand
And lead me now into the promised land
Place coins of bronze upon me eyes
And Kiss my lips one last goodbye

I look at this world and see little understanding
The reason for this life, my soul is demanding
And although my manners may seem to be uncouth

Has stolen the heart of this young headstrong boy
Her skin that sparkled in the bright sky of May
Convinced me now to seize the day

I thought that I knew everything

To be a burning star that doesn't die

And what judgement is it that cupid deems
Beautiful one beyond the skies, mountains, and streams
What trickery you put forth on me
To make my heart cry and yearn for thee
