Light reflects white which lays in leaf and dried blood

Dulling grey eyes scour the landscape slate
Charcoal skies
Tipped with dishonest
Silver linings

How I yearn to write of adoration
Love
Pattering heartbeats and Rose petals on pillows
And my how my stomach billows

I sigh
Seated amongst those frivolous daisies creating a chain just for you
As shadows fall from the grandest oak over the freshest dandelion stew
