How dare I show you

So many faces and growing minds
pass through one's halls and rooms.
Then, they are gone
and new ones come

I hear the wheels a rollin'
they're tearing 'round the bend
to sink into those wetlands
like they've done since way back when.

So I will live just 'round the pond
and tread where few have trod beyond -
Where special ones with motives sure
the founders who all went before,
