The End Of The World

This End Of The World

Waking up from a hazy sleep, he sits up from his bed staring at the floor room quiet not even a bird chirp from the sky. He can hear the sounds of newspapers In the streets from his window as he walks to his dresser to fetch his clothes from the rack. Fully clothed he walks to the kitchen to make a coffee he finishes It with topping It off with a cigarette, exhaling the smoke slowly out of his nose as he walks towards the elevator. The elevator takes It time to come up, tapping his foot as the bell finally rings the doors open. He walks outside the doors of his broken down apartment to the empty streets of Newcastle, walking casually through the alleyways with a smoke hanging off his mouth. Finally reaching a deserted bar he walks In to be greeted by a mouse running through the back door.

Anxiety

Friends and family with her but she's never felt more alone. She lets her heart love but only to be broken by the man who promised her that he'd never dare to. Not letting out a tear she stays strong, and listen to devils and heathens telling her It will be ok. Wondering what will happen to her If she faded away, would anyone miss her, would anyone come to see her In her death bed.

She held all of these fears, and buried them six feet deep. Hoping that no one will find them. Until someone came Into her life that promised her he can take It all away. In dismay and dread, she denies what he's talking about, pushing him away so that he never has to know. Anxiety laying with her In bed, snaking Itself up her body saying It was looking for the fainthearted. Putting It's hand around her throat It laughs.

A Beautiful Love

Tell me stories of fantasy and romance, show me what It can feel like to love. And let me play you songs of better times, and write you poems of what It felt like to love and lose It all. I remember times we stayed In your room staring at the roof awkwardly as you wiggled yourself closer to my body, cold as ice and yours warm like the the flames burning Inside of you. You kissed me under stars so bright, and held me as the winds turn your cheeks maroon, like the hair brushing off your shoulders. Clocks ticked and walls disappear you sat on me looking down Into my eyes, telling me you might be In love.

She was scared, That she'd lose me and I told her that It was going to be okay, I mean what else could I do. I wanted to say I loved her back, that I loved every second I spent with her, I didn't want to let this end. But as I opened my mouth nothing came out, like something was holding those words down, and not letting me speak and tell her how I really felt. So I pushed myself up and kissed her, gently resting her down against her bed, she smiled. She understood but I didn't know why I couldn't even tell her the three words I wanted to say most.

Midnight Beauty (Her Love)

3 am In the morning, glaring off Into the moon, listening to the slow sounds of guitars and crickets In the field. She writes a short poem that tells everything she's ever felt for him, and how she felt about the moon. Sitting outside on the lawn chair her father gave her, feeling the cold wind graze across her face. Her cheeks will turn red and leaves will cover her feet like snow, and her heart will stay still waiting for someone to sweep her off her feet.

She heard him telling her over the phone, "Baby girl I'm not your type, I'd only break your heart. So If you listen to everything they tell to you, please just start listening to me. Listen to the sound of my voice, and the sound of your beating heart, I'm not going to be here forever, and you got to find a way to handle that. I love you but I got to leave".
