Reflections Of Motherhood

The days have passed so swiftly that I hardly saw the change
from chubby wobbly toddler to the child you are today
Your knowledge far surpasses mine on many points of view
Yet it seems like only yesterday I heard 'Mom, what's two plus two? '
The good, the bad, the in-between was worth it every bit
For I grew too, and learned from you, endless joy I may have missed
If the choice were mine to make again, I would not change a thing
For there is no greater gift in life than the Love a child can bring
