She Is My Pearl

Everyone in the world is always seeking
They seek to find happiness or desire
So what is it that I may seek?
why, I seek a pearl of course

A pearl that brings never ending happiness
A pearl that would send my heart a flutter
A pearl whose melody is so sweet, I cant resist
A pearl that I can lovingly care for

But this pearl is hard to find, That is until I met you
Your elegance radiated, Your beauty unrivaled
Your melody superb, Your gentle nature
I decided to see if you were my desire

At first I meant to only see for days
However days became weeks
And weeks became months
And from months to years

I pondered and wondered
And wondered and pondered
And then I realized I found it
It happened so magically

Your eyes met my eyes
Your lips touched my lips
And from the kiss came such bliss
And when you leave I begin to…miss you

It is not because of lustful desire
It is because your presence is no longer there
It is because I care
It is because I love


Not just physically and verbally
But mentally, I believe its meant to be
Just you and me, because….
Because, you are my world

You are the light that give me sight
You are the source of all my might
You are my souls other half
You are my love
