    I can't remember the year but I know it was in the early '70s but I was working at a Country Station in Louisville Kentucky and Tom T. was playing a date in the same town and I think it was New Year's Eve. (the memory goes when you get to be my age.) I was to tape an interview with him on his bus after the show. He was tired but willing to submit to the interview...when we both realized it wasn't going too well he said, 'Shut that thing off.' I did. Then he asked, 'You ever take a drink? ' I told him I certainly did....and he popped up one of the seat cushions and
    pulled out a bottle of Canadian Whiskey. We passed the bottle back and forth and went on
    with the interview. It was the only one I ever did with him...but it turned out fine.
    Good memories...
