My feelings desecrate my mind
My mind contaminates my feelings
My life thinks mostly of death
And in my death I wish for a life.

And I've came to a conclusion
I've decided everything is pointless
And all just an illusion.

Stranded with these fears
Drowning in these falling tears
Everyday just seems like years,

Get to really know me and help me to be me
I can show you things you would never ever see
We can go to places we've never ever been
Places that you thought you would have never ever seen

I hear the thunder
Thumping through my life
I await the lightning
To slice through me like a knife
...

It's best we try not to worry
Because worrying wont sort us out
We've all got crosses to carry
We've all gotta cross the rivers of doubt

The closer I get to you
the closer I need to be.
I hear your voice and you sound so low,
You don't need to tell me how you feel
...

When I awake tomorrow
Will it all be there?
Will the sky turn into sand
And will I be enough to share?
...

They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger
All I know is that I can't be dead any longer
And so I try to be me,
But will I fall?

It's written on sacred pages
Words passed over many ages
Some are lies,
Some ring true
