Mark Horsfall Poems

Screams of pain and anger
People loosing their lives
But for what?
Famine?
...

Brutal mutilation
World abomination
This is where your soul will come to die
...

Look
Can you see them?
Look, their
How strange
...

In Search of nothing
Dormant minds stand still
Endless upsets
Never finding truth.
...

In front of behind
I stare at the sand
With grass growing through
A crystallised hand
...

I stand and see
Into my eyes
Into the back of my childhood mind
...

Lightning quickens
The pace, the race
The rat has his place
In time it’s 13
...

We are the power
Elevation

You give us the power
...

Weeping distortions
Drone in the fear
Beyond the nightscape
Beyond the glass
...

There’s this cat
Round our way
I’ve seen his grin
I know his game
...

11.

The leaders Triune
You shall obey
For when we march
Your armies shall fade away
...

13.

Today I saw a plane up high,
Drifting through a cloudless sky,
I smiled as it drifted by,
And thought of happy times.

The Best Poem Of Mark Horsfall

The Art Of War.

Screams of pain and anger
People loosing their lives
But for what?
Famine?
Drought?
Or the worst cause of all,
War!

Mans first and last try for suicide
The grief of millions can’t be denied
But who’s fault is this?
Who can we blame?
Politicians! !
They’re all the god damned same

All they want is power and wealth
But all they do is endanger our health
Can we live
under this constant threat of death?
I don’t really think so
But what will be left?

Nothing! !
But a burnt out core
For this is what will happen
In a nuclear war........
