I stand and see
Into my eyes
Into the back of my childhood mind

Into the blackness
What lies beyond?
An empty void, memories gone

Seeing is believing
Do I believe what I see?
Am I just a being? A being just to be

Is there a purpose?
Is there a plan?
Is the man from a child, or the child from a man?

Fragmented information
Flashes through my brain
Piece by piece, it’s put together again

An image unfolds
The image of me
To be myself, to be
