Again and again, what seems like decades, a black spirit swirls and whirls
Hungry for the souls abroad this once holy night

I remember growing up
Life seemed so perfect till he snitched on them
Then I remember being on the run for years
But even as a kid, I made the best out of it

Even to this day, I remember his warmth.
I remember those fun brown eyes, the deep laugh.
I remember how my heart broke when I ran from that town.
I never know how he feels anymore but it's ok.
