Michael Foster Poems

1.

When the sun has set and the moon peaks nigh
When the stars sing bright in the summer sky
When the trees wave silent and the grasses hiss
That's when I'll be content, with all of this
...

How do you unlock the secrets, into someone's inner soul
How do you fill a goblet, which has never been full
How do you plant an oak tree, on ground that's dry and hard
How do you repair a friendship, that's in a million shards
...

When you think of darkness, and when you think of light
Do you think of goodness, do you think of fear

Is the light really what it seams
...

Burrowed within the ground where demons creep
And soaring above earth in the azure sky
Gliding though the oceans blue and deep
This is where I lie
...

I find myself trapped in a cage and
I yell and shout and am consumed by rage
I cannot see through my fateful bars
Nor feel the wind or see the stars
...

In waters murky far away
In waters dismal and dark far from places bright and gay
Away from where the living are
In silent waters beneath the stars
...

Throughout the dark and somber years
My fear is ever churning
Within my cries and dreaded tears
I feel the constant yearning
...

The Best Poem Of Michael Foster

When

When the sun has set and the moon peaks nigh
When the stars sing bright in the summer sky
When the trees wave silent and the grasses hiss
That's when I'll be content, with all of this

When the winds lullabies in the sprightly breeze
When flowers are blooming and we smile with ease
When the honey is sweet and the clouds roll by
That's when I'll see through mine own eyes

When the sky is blue as the ocean deep
When all the creatures on this dear earth sleep
When the mountains on earth touch the heavens
That's when the lamb, to the lion beckons
