I lose any pleasure of things:

Numbness in my heart regained;
Lifeless is the breath I take;
Unnecessary life I make.

I miss the girl I used to be:
I miss her smile—even her tears;
I miss the innocence she lost
Along in life, she cannot restore.

Emerald eyes, like the greenest dale...
And his lovely name was Dale:
A young man, which once I've met:
Tenderly with care my hand he held.

O! You, Argent Beauty!
On nights like these,
You come closer than any other nights;
