Emerald eyes, like the greenest dale...
And his lovely name was Dale:
A young man, which once I've met:
Tenderly with care my hand he held.
Never before saw I such sparkly eyes:
Two precious gems—two emerald eyes
Which penetrated my heart with love,
But humans' fate is from above...
Shortly after, an angel called him back,
And all who loved him—were wearing black;
Emerald eyes, like the greenest dale...
Rest in peace! our dear, Dale.
A moving write! It is so sad that those emerald eyes were closed for ever! The most beautiful flowers are sooner cut!
a lovely tender write about someone special. excellent imagery
Pain and torment and loss find many paths to expressions The poet’s job is to take the feelings and dress them in words…for all to see… a dress that is recognizable and salient The reader sees this splendor and through it finds the veiled approach Upon this touchstone… your lines do a great job The feelings shine through amply to show the hidden ache and anguish Nice liked
Lovely poem Mihaela, such sweet words, so much sorrow too, lovely photo of you also, nice to see you
His emerald eyes seem to have enticed me too....! How sad he met with such a premature death!

A gem of a person. We miss him. It is darkness everywhere.
