In the bedlam of words
with letters waltzing about
baffled the bard stands
enduring a depressive bout

Beguiling truth t'is
eternal verity all assay
at the other side it mocks
this naked cynical lay

calm as a child in sweet slumber
of such placid dreams
with face of gilded amber
unto I, bonnie she seems
...

lo and behold! !
this field of dream
hath the soil of red
once hadst some green
...
