Like a distant aching memeory vanishing in the night
Walking away in the dark, out of my sight and mind
So full of hurt and sadness of the pain of the way things have gone
I broke into a run, in the dark, terror of being alone

No more answers do I have
For all the things gone wrong
No more memories can I have
Except the ones written in the songs
...

I hear you calling, see your face
Watch tears fall from your sky
So far from home, I try to reach you
Before more rain runs from your eyes
...

There was a time in my life, not so long ago
Wen everything around my head was pink
Then
All my skies turned grey, ashes from a burning day

Words of fire were spit from your lips
Hanging thick in the choking air
Grabbing my lungs and filling my heart

I come home late at night
Just wanting to wind down
Walking up the stairs
I need to be alone

Tears falling from my sky

Thrives on the dark
Evil shines light
