I am a teacher living in Moscow.
I love poetry and write a bit myself. I also translate from English into Russian, my native language.
In 2011 I made up some poems in English which I risk to share here now. more »

Natalia Bakina Poems
A little bird touches my cheek... She's a descendant from the peak
When the sky shields its dim starry eyes, The night’s kimono is spreading unwrapped
Because My Eyes Were Closed
Half-dozing in my isolation, Strange phantoms bringing consolation… My feelings were intense, And every little sense
Back To The Essentials
You are so true – no truer are the trees That sacrifice when kindle fire,
Primordial noises trembled And rose to a smearing pitch.
I Relive The Happy Moments
I relive the happy moments Of inner tremor when I found Again the same delusive torments, Again the same evoking rounds.
I’ll Mix The Layers Of The Dawn
I’ll mix the layers of the dawn With the mirroring waters to draw Your love – a flame of my reborn. Where the conscience exists no more,
Blazing leaves - my raging days; Autumn wind loosened embrace. No more ties and glaring thoughts, There I found my strange resort,
I'm Grateful For Your Being So Sincere
I’m grateful for your being so sincere, For bringing peace when sitting near, Though we are distantly apart, I thank you for my melting heart
I Drink Nights As Sleeping Potions
I drink nights as sleeping potions, Mix them in a dreamless chase. Time enframes my slow motion, Drawing and erasing days -
I am a lizard in your trees, My skin is cold and brittle, But I shed fires underneath When forge my wreath of riddle.
When The Morning Explodes In The Shimmer...
When the morning explodes in the shimmering dew Which reflects back the pure heaven's vast, When you're asleep I'm looking at you And pray for these moments to last...
Play The Guitar...
My every lonely conscious hour Is dragging me into you night, Impassioned by exalted powers Of your wistfully fanciful mind.
I would be your guard to save Memories from shaded traces; I would be a placid wave To rock you in all-night embraces.

A little bird touches my cheek...
She's a descendant from the peak
Of Our Eternal Story
Born in your poetic glory.
A little bird pecks on my shoulder...
She's an immutable beholder
Of the ageless dreams of time,
Your faithful love in the sublime.
A little bird sings in my ear...
Celestial melodies she can hear
In your ethereal etudes,
Ambrosial words that you exude.
A little bird sits on my hand...
She is a messenger from the land
Of the All-Enlightening Beam
Where the spirit reigns supreme.
