They lie there, wilted and without life
Their colour had bled out long ago
They have remained there for a long time
No one noticed

Oh darkness oh darkness, we are united once more

Embraced with the familiar feeling I felt before

The Roses Are Dead

They lie there, wilted and without life
Their colour had bled out long ago
They have remained there for a long time
No one noticed
No one cared
As they died
Not even the one who put them there
They died
And the world didn't wince
But no Rose is really dead, is it?
It can find new purpose
And be given back the life it had...
Through death
Because
Roses are meant to die
Just as they are meant to live
Why water Roses that are meant to die?
Is it to live?
Is it for self purpose?
The Rose does not speak
But it has a voice
And it's actions speak volumes
But it is not seen by any
So in its last valiant act
The Rose dies
For the purpose of other Roses to live on
Because to the Roses
Death is not to be prolonged

It is greeted with a farewell to the world
Because to the Roses
Death is longed for
They served their purpose
And now they will leave
And show the rest
What happens when beauty...
In it's simplest form
Is neglected
They wither and die
But don't cry for the Rose
Or the Roses
Don't shun those who fail to care for them
Because when the Roses bled out
Where were you?
