Nelson G. Remache Poems

Like the moon in a dark night,
As though I had hopes and yet none.
Here I sit, waiting for a chime
While I sing my crime.
...

If it is a burden, why not dropped it?
If you where miles away-
Should run to reach you and hold your hand?
As if hope was still a burning spark.
...

And So They Spoke-
Here and there…
I hear you all, here and there-
Like a close acquaintance
...

Her laugh was contagious…
It held the grip on insanity, but a laugh of joy
Holds no roots of insanity, it calms the nerves,
It makes you smile.
...

If the voice before me melts in truth.
What have they all seen in me?
Emptiness, a vast dark room-
I here by denounce!

Nelson G. Remache Biography

I was born in Ecuador, my early most enjoyed childhood memories are back there, i learned to lived with nature there as my older brother and i will go hiking in the mountains for days, sometimes finding long grass plains i will lay under the warm sun, and observe the puffy, clean white clouds, the sky literally crystal clear, the only noise there was nature itself, i was 8-10 yrs old...we will fish, and stay there for hrs, time was nonexistent, i was brought to the USA when i was 11, but thats another story... i love drawing, painting, though now i seem to have lost the touch of i. my style; surrealism. i start writing when i was 16, when a teacher asked her students to write journals and it will count as everyday homework, i guess she was trying to make us improve our spanish writing, thats when i set my pen and imagination in poetry, i am not good, far, but every single human has his/her own way of expressing, i have written some short stories...well not written for i never finished the ending...sometimes i get stuck in one point...and never continue, i should.)

Silently I Miss You

Like the moon in a dark night,
As though I had hopes and yet none.
Here I sit, waiting for a chime
While I sing my crime.

I wonder where you have traveled-
Though what I feel might not get to you.
I think of you and wonder,
While I look yonder.
As the sun shines pleasantly
I marvel, though in voices I wonder
“Where are you, where have you gone? ”
I have to wonder.
While I think of you like roses
And their sweet scent at my noses
Yet looking in your eyes I wonder…
How sweet, how beautiful they both falter.
Though years have passed in days-

I miss you…
And silently I kiss you
While you sweetly dream and smile-
And I sat next to you, sadden by your beauty
Admiring the tenderness of your sweet face-
And yet I still look for you.

I miss you-
While I kiss you-
Yet silently I miss you…
