Nevaeh is not my real name but that is what you shall know me by. I am a girl with a story. A story that some, well most, do not like. I am a girl that has fallen in love with her best friend. That may not sound bad to you now, but what if I told you that my best friend was a girl as well? Would that change your view on me? Because of that forbidden love that I am not allowed to persue, is the main reason why I write poetry. All the anger that it congures, all the sweetness that eminates from it, all the love that I feel is why I write. I can only hold so much in and writing it out is my release.)

The Perfect Imperfection

You say you don't like your size, always too tall of too big,
You tell me you want to be skinny, but not like a twig.
Always wanting to make the highest score on the test,
But when you don't you get mad at yourself,
Even though you performed at your best.

You say your too emotional and that you get excited over everything,
So to calm down, chill out and just relax,
You listen to your iPod and sing.
Even during art class your circles aren't exactly circular and your lines,
Not necessarly straight,
But ask anyone besides yourself and they'll tell you they look great.

You tell me that you don't like the flaws of you collection,
But baby, to me, you are the perfect imperfection...
