I was born, a night full of storms.
Yet, I was at peace.
For I had my whole life ahead,
And this was just a storm.
...
He sat there,
On a moonless night.
Gazing up at the sky,
Yes, he was a wee bit high.
...
On a cold winter night,
Someone asked me for a light.
As I lit the flame,
I realized that he was a ghost,
...
The flickering light vanishes,
and darkness becomes my companion
Caressing me and soothing me,
it's hard to ignore the call of the clarion.
...
Life
I was born, a night full of storms.
Yet, I was at peace.
For I had my whole life ahead,
And this was just a storm.
So naturally, I had to be schooled,
Because the whole world was fooled.
Always searching for the truth,
Always trying to give my life a meaning.
Yet, I was at peace,
Because this was just a piece.
I started searching for a job,
A job to make others rich.
Forced to kiss asses,
Trodden down by superior masses.
Yet, I did that all,
I felt that I was at peace,
For I still had some life to live.
Now I am withered and old,
My body just waiting to get cold,
Resenting others for the lies they told.
Now I have time, but no one to spend with.
Now I realize that life is just a myth.
Yet, I am at peace.
In the knowledge that it is all over.
FINALLY OVER
