What quest, young man
Art thou eager to find?
No eyes can withstand
The maxim of light.

Considering the thought of her comfort and only,
I worry, indeed, if she thinks I’m not stalling.
To think that her heart is not guarded as closely,
I fear of the one day of it ever falling.

Oh young Goddess,
Under your will, I retain my trust.
I cannot help neither the incentive of my heart nor its mystery,
Only noting I am conscious that it hunts for your delicate innocence.

Never did she care,
For society’s ideals.
Never did she care at all.

Beneath the protection of the verdant,
Elevated mango trees,
There I lay upon the bare ground,
Next to my aging grandmother.

Young Man's Voyage

What quest, young man
Art thou eager to find?
No eyes can withstand
The maxim of light.
Halt for the truth to come,
As God halts for us, we shall do as he does.

A new season leads
The passion within.
Oh why do thou plead
For a world without sin?
We all partake in the guilt.
May we do as we please, therefore: do what thou wilt?

Thou have learned nevermore,
And not will, once again.
Since thou have blinded thy eyes
And deceived with a grin.
But not with thy eyes should thou see.
Sensing love as it comes through the heart is the key.

Now onward the path
Forward to Shrines,
To find what thou hath
Prevailed within all the time.
Forthwith revealed: thou are thy Spirit,
No temple, no church, or no mosque will inhibit.

So I ask again…
What quest, young man
Art thou eager to find?
Since no eyes can withstand
The maxim of light?
Halt for the truth to come,
As God halts for us, we shall do as he does.
