Patty Rose Poems

White raven soars
before the eclipse of the sun
paradox of light and dark
a phoenix dipped in fire
...

Island of sky among clouds
Sifts a setting sun’s ray
Hues of blue
Bring peace to sad eyes
...

And when the bell of wisdom tolls
water’s crystallized reflection shows
measured words at every turn
now the past comes forth to burn
...

Too easily lost is my sight
of what I know to be is right
not knowing how I feel
or how to be sure it's real
...

I used to be
But time corrupted me
Those days of purity
Lost to clarity
...

From where does the peace lie
in this happy dream
a nightmare in its too many freedoms
a death march in its too many days
...

Time is mine
raining sunshine
may be all in my mind
but people here are kind
...

When gray is green
I see a meadow
where children play unseen
under laughter so mellow
...

Though I have known the depths of hell
I have known the peaks of bliss
...

Baby born blue
didn’t have a clue
ups and downs
scary, sad clowns
...

Amongst a forest
tall trees sway
slow wind whispers
one continues to bow
...

Ride my rollercoaster
Into the night
Atop the moon
To see the light
...

13.

Raining sunshine
all in my mind
comes the thunder
let’s live and wonder
...

Question in my mind
time has lingered behind
a love that can’t be found
echoes cry comes around
...

Seems all that I do
and all that I say
has a price
I have to pay
...

Brightest star in the sky
surrenders no light in the dark
where anger breeds unkept
in a lifeless world unkind
...

In darkness shines the moon
as I wander through my mind
the sun forgotten too soon
my search for love gone blind
...

Spun in circles
she walked away
praying for her family
her son visited today
...

The way back cannot be found
if you’ve run too far too long
so much unable to reign
only the fear left to remain
...

I’ve fallen in love
with the silence of night
listen to me
please be not afraid
...

The Best Poem Of Patty Rose

White Raven, Black Sun

White raven soars
before the eclipse of the sun
paradox of light and dark
a phoenix dipped in fire

For all of darkness
reveals a light unseen
all of light
casts a shadow

In this prism of refraction
lies a meaning to life
where the window’s reflection
has one before, one behind

Together seen unknown
like the axis of an eye
a kaleidoscope of kind
not known by our mind

To find the white raven once again
soar before the sun’s eclipse
wings tipped gold to capture its fury
dancing in its ring of fire
