Brings life upon the snow-covered earth.
The icy fur, that marvelous array,
Wrapped up trees branches, leading forth

The weather is windy, the clouds are black,
Her body is shaken by the surge of delight.
The flashes of lightning, the sounds of crack —
It rains cats and dogs but she feels alright.

The Andes put on view a lost empire —
I contemplate the ruins of Machu Picchu.
They are magnificent. I am inspired
By the prophetic essence of the picture.

If only more people knew
The strength and oneness of her soul!
I’m blessed to be among the few
Who see the aureole.
