? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Poem by Paul McAnaney

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Lost within your pearly auburn eyes
For once i now feel at peace,
Big and brown they drown out
all the unhappy sounds.
With a smile that would illuminate
The darkest soul you lift my heart
from a deep and dark hole.
I now feel consoled.
Your lips so soft so luscious
as if drawn upon your face
by an artists brush.
