نامَ الجميعُ وكيف النومُ يطرقني

نامَ الجميعُ وكيف النومُ يطرقني
والنارُ في قلبيَ المشتاقِ تضطرمُ

ناموا هنيئاً لكم إذ ليس يشغلكم
من الهوى أَملٌ مثلي ولا أَلمُ

أبيت وحديَ في الظلماءِ تُؤنسني
ذكرى دريدَ فتُدميني وأَبتسمُ

يرفرفُ المجدُ فوقي والغرامُ معاً
كلاهما خافقٌ ما يخفق العلَمُ

طيرانِ وكرُهما قلبي وما برحا
فيهِ قرىً لهما لحمٌ بهِ ودمُ
