لي جدة ترأفُ بي

لي جدَّة ٌ ترأفُ بي أحنى عليَّ من أبي
وكلُّ شيءٍ سرَّني تذهب فيه مَذهبي
إن غضبَ الأهلُ عليَّ كلُّهم لم تغضبِ
بمشى أَبي يوماً إليَّ مشية َ المؤدِّبِ
غضبانَ قد هدَّدَ بالضرْ ب وإن لم يَضرِبِ
فلم أَجِد لي منهُ غيرَ جَدَّتي من مَهرَبِ
فجعَلتني خلفَها أنجو بها، وأختبي
وهْيَ تقولُ لأَبي بِلهجة المؤنِّبِ
ويحٌ لهُ! ويحٌ لِهـ ذا الولدِ المعذَّبِ
أَلم تكن تصنعُ ما يَصنعُ إذ أَنت صبي؟
