054. No Rule To Live By Poem by Jaden Knight

054. No Rule To Live By

No rule to live by
no possessions
guided by rebellious thoughts
branded a fool by my own definitions

Cruelty once ruled my mind
hate controlled my soul
ask for mercy
none given
all I get is taunts
drowning out my shouts

Torn between my choices
though options are few
blinded not enlightened
the tables have turned

A victim of myself
mental pain self-inflicted
only one option left
but that’s suicide

Driven to desertion
no chance to change
the rope around my neck
forbids it to happen
as I jump from the roof
the sound of death
then darkness
I can feel no more
