You can act like I don’t exist
And pretend u never knew me
But there’s not a chance
That I won’t persist

I don’t want you back
I don’t need you here
I just need to know
I can talk to you for real

You were the guy I went to
When I found out the worst of news
Now you’re the guy I act like
I’ve never even knew

I’m running into a wall
That I never thought I’d see
It’s inevitable our friendship
And I can’t wait to prove you wrong

I’m wasting my time
And your pushing me back
But I won’t give up
It’s an endless attack

So here we are again
At a crossroads we know won’t end
It’s a moment of truth
That will steal from us our youth
