Sometimes forever is just a glance
A fleeting moment of trance
A few seconds that is immortal
A memory of love perpetual

I only need 10 seconds to be divine
10 seconds of your precious time
The time it takes to blink your eyes
And the time it takes for them to shine

10 seconds to gaze
And 10 seconds to memorise
The contours of your face
And your smile that's so ethereal

10 seconds to stay
Until you fade away
A 10 seconds that is eternal
And an undying love from a mortal
